I know, believe me, I KNOW

I'm starting to think there's a causal relationship between me daring to name a release date for something, and the absurdly long delays that then occur before that thing actually gets done.
o_O

So, yeah, obviously there's been a delay.
Gah.
First there was about two weeks of me having the flu, then there has been/is being about two weeks of crazy work schedules, because of the christmas thing (turns out you guys order a LOT of stuff from Amazon.com in the leadup to christmas--I've been basically buried in Amazon boxes, which I then cram into extremely large aircraft) and of course there were scattered days in there where I just felt like crap, where nothing productive happened even though I might have actually had time to be productive.
But mostly it has been the flu and the work stuff.

However, after this weekend, life should hopefully return to normal (or what passes for that, around here), and at that point you'll see story posts.

The triple-sized Dawn chapter, yep.
New Harmony: SuperGoddess chapter(s), check.
And... Ship Of the Line (Darth Buffy)--Yeah, that's been sleeping for a while, I know. But this week, as I zombie-shuffled from work, to my bed, then back to work, then back to my bed, there came a moment when I realized how to fix something about that story that has been really bugging me.
Basically--Willow's situation.
I mean come on, the girl has a hole through her the size of a soccer ball, and she's been lying there for a long while, in story time--determination only gets her so far, you know?
Only now I know.
I haz figured it out.
And it's sort of cool.
Now I need to write it.

So that'll be showing up soon.
But now, I have to grab a quick nap before heading back into work, for another double shift.
Nearly there, nearly done with this year's rush season, and then I can get back to doing something I enjoy a lot more than throwing boxes.
Um, not that we, or especially *I* would throw your precious boxes.
Because we/I wouldn't.
Ever.
Ahem.
(^_^)

Happy Holidays, everyone, and Merry Christmas.
I'll be back with your presents early in the new year.
