Caretaker


Hey.
Okay, my father's surgery went well, and I was able to bring him home today, but he is in his late 70's, and will need a little time to bounce back from the ordeal.
So, tonight I'm up, still worrying, and feeling pretty depressed at how this once physically-powerful man now needs my help to get to and from the bathroom.
Not a fun thing to face, when your parents show their mortality so starkly.

My hope was that he would be recovered enough to go back to his place tomorrow; now I'm not so sure. I'll have to wait and see how it goes.
I'd still like to get that chapter done this week/weekend (Dawn/SG:1 chapter, definitely).
I'll know more tomorrow.
