Back on track, belatedly

Okay, doing better now.
14,000 words in and moving along, three scenes to go.
This is going to be over 20,000 words long.
All of you guys who keep telling me you like long chapters?
Welp, I aim to please.

I'm just going to keep going on this as hard as I can until I finish it; Monday would be a miracle, probably the middle of the week, since I'll still need to give it the usual final readthrough and cleanup before posting.

I also still need to show it to my longsuffering prereader; god, I hope she doesn't point out any glaring issues :-P

  1. I don't know if you'll hit your self imposed deadline(what was it, BTW), but if you're over 14,000 words in at this point and generally know how it's going to go, I see no reason why you can't have it done before the end of the month at the latest, probably a fair bit sooner at the rate you're going.

Two solid, long, well written chapters within a month's time is pretty successful by any standards, especially considering how long your latest chapters are, and even with plenty of story to tell, I think your going to feel a lot better by hitting a key milestone in the story by finishing up the first part of it. That and over on TtH, I don't see how you're not going to have at least 60K hits on the story.
