Delays

So I'm way behind on the next chapter of Unquenchable Fire (does anyone recognize the origin of that title, I wonder?  It's from Star Wars (the first/fourth one, depending on how you're counting); no one has ever asked, so either they know, they don't know/don't care, or they just assume it's some artsy thing that doesn't mean anything in particular.
Anyway, delays.
Unfortunately, the same medical issue that has been hammering me flat for basically all of 2014 has continued to maul me.  It ranges from 'gee, that kinda hurts' to a sort of 'ZOMGWTF I'm not sure I can stand this any more just want to fall in bed and try to sleep till this either goes away or I die' kinda deal.  I've been seeing a very nice doctor lady (who is also quite cute) to help me with it, but all she can really do is give me shots that provide a few days of relief, then it slowly creeps back.  So when I get a stretch of good days that happen to line up with my randomly-occurring bursts of writing enthusiasm, I can get shit done.  When I have the urge to write but I'm NOT in a pain-free/low-pain stretch, I can't do much besides doodle around with the stories, because all the energy is just sucked out of me.
I'm scheduled to see a specialist this upcoming Monday, and I hope they can fix whatever's wrong, so that I can get back on track.  At the moment, I am feeling better, so I'll be trying to make some progress on things.
I'm sorry for the long pause; I had planned to do better, but until this is sorted out, it's hard to predict when new material will be ready.  I'll do the best I can.
